Meierotto uses email and a phone relay system through the iPad and since it?s been gone, he has had trouble communicating.
With the help of an interpreter, KGW spoke with Meierotto.
?I use it to be able learn a lot of things? When I travel I always have it. It keeps me busy,? he said.
Officers searched the neighborhood but did not find anybody matching the suspects' descriptions. On Friday, police released surveillance pictures of the suspects.
The man who grabbed the iPad was described as African-American, in his late teens or early 20s, 5-foot-9, with a thin build and short black hair. He was wearing a red T-shirt, light blue jean shorts and black, high-top tennis shoes.
The man with the bike was described as white, in his late teens or early 20s, 5-foot-10, with a medium build and a Chinese symbol tattoo on the left side of his neck. He was wearing a white T-shirt, baseball cap and black shorts.
Any one with information about the suspects was urged to call police.
